Wageningen Agricultural University, the Netherlands, annually offers an International MSc degree course in Ecological Agriculture, with English as medium of instruction. The rationale for the initiation of this course in 1991 was the worldwide trend towards the incorporation of principles of the sustainability in agricultural education. The main objectives of the course are an understanding of underlying ecological concepts and processes and the ability to translate such an understanding into practical guidelines for ecological farming. Applicants must have a BSc in agriculture or biology and must have mastered the English language. A brochure with more information and an application form is available upon request.
